Playing games is a great way to have FUN while you Play together.

Advertise! Spread the Word!

Here are two things to say when you announce your SoFun^® event:

There’s a Reason
As we’ve pointed out, there are many reasons to Play games and have FUN. Pick one or two reasons and advertise it! It helps to get the event off to a good start. If it’s to have FUN – say so! If it’s to learn or raise money or a club competition – say that, too!

A Time & Place
Pick a time and place and let your members know about it. That sounds obvious, but … some forget. Even if the game playing is part of a regular meeting, let your members know about it.

Here are two things to do to ensure success at your SoFun^® event:

Be Prepared
Are you ready to play? Make sure you have the space (tables and chairs), enough games, pen/pencils, snacks, and all the rest that make for a good time. A little decoration, too, might help set a festive mood.

Have FUN
Yes, it helps to remind folks that having FUN is the key ingredient. Even if it’s a tournament, laughter and a light attitude helps everyone relax and enjoy themselves. Have FUN and the SoFun^® event will be a success!
